Overview
Říp is a solitary hill rising above the flat Bohemian plains, visible from as far as Sněžka mountain and high spots in Prague. Czech legends regard it as a kind of "national mountain" with deep historical significance to the Czech people.

Transport
Nearest stations: Ctiněves and Mnětěš on the Prague-Roudnice line. Park in Rovné village. No vehicles allowed on the hill road.
