Overview
Rewalsar is one of India's rare multi-faith pilgrimage towns, equally sacred to Hindus, Sikhs, and Buddhists. The town centers on a lake believed to have miraculously formed when Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava) transformed a funeral pyre into water.
