Overview
Réunion National Park protects the dramatic interior of a volcanic island in the Indian Ocean. The park covers 1,750 km² — about 70% of Réunion's land area — with UNESCO-recognized inner zones featuring the island's two volcanoes, Piton des Neiges (3,067 m) and Piton de la Fournaise (2,631 m), as well as the inaccessible Cirque de Mafate.
