Overview
Ranong is a small border town on Thailand's Andaman coast, 568 km from Bangkok, that remains refreshingly authentic and unspoiled by mass tourism. The town serves as a crossing point to Kawthoung (Victoria Point) in Myanmar and is famed for its natural hot springs, where visitors can soak in sulphurous pools at around 65°C.
