Local currency is Chinese Yuan (¥). Tourist restaurants may charge ¥100+ for two; verify prices before ordering to avoid inflated menus.
Transport
Qufu East Railway Station has high-speed G/D trains to Beijing (2 hr) and Shanghai (3 hr). Slower trains stop at Yanzhou, 15 km west, with ¥6 buses to Qufu.
Weather
Best visited April-May or September-October. Summers are hot (32°C) and humid with heavy rainfall; winters are cold (-6°C) and dry.
