Overview
Qinghaihu National Park centers on Qinghai Lake (Kokonor in Mongolian, Tso Ngonbo in Tibetan), the largest inland saltwater lake in China. The park draws nature lovers and adventure cyclists with its 360-km perimeter loop, one of China's most popular bike rides, and Bird Island, a breeding ground for over 100,000 migratory birds including bar-headed geese, brown-headed gulls, swans, and wild ducks.
