Overview
Puthia is a compact village in Rajshahi Division famous for one of Bangladesh's finest collections of Hindu temples, all dating from the 18th-19th century. The star attraction is the sprawling temple complex surrounding Shiv Sagar and Shyam Sagar lakes, featuring intricate terracotta ornamentation, towering spires, and a moat.
