Climate
Presidente Prudente has a tropical rainy climate with less dry and cold winters featuring occasional light frosts, and rainy summers with high temperatures. The city is located about 350 miles (560 km) west of São Paulo city. Stay safe
The city is considered relatively quiet, though travelers should be cautious in remote areas, especially at night. Avoid walking after 23:00 in Downtown and Parque do Povo area. The bus station and Urban Terminal region should be avoided as it attracts prostitution and armed robbery. Public toilets in Parque do Povo become unsafe after dark. Contact police at "190" for emergencies.
