Transport
ALSA buses run every two hours from León to Pola de Lena (1 hour), continuing to Mieres, Oviedo and Gijón. RENFE Cercanías Train C1 runs every 30 minutes from Gijón via Oviedo (30 min from Oviedo).

Asturias has a maritime climate—mild and wet year-round. Summers are cool (15-20°C), winters are mild but rainy. Mountains see snow in winter.
