Overview
Podujeva (also called Besiana in Albanian) is a small town in the rural hilly area between Pristina and the Serbian border. It offers a quieter alternative to Kosovo's capital with traditional Albanian hospitality, local restaurants serving bean soup and Turkish tea, and access to Batlava Lake just outside town.

Transport
Taxis cost €2-3 to get around town. Buses to Pristina run regularly and cost around €1 for the 40-minute journey.
