Overview
Pelling is a small Himalayan town in West Sikkim perched at 1,900 m (6,250 ft), famous for its unobstructed views of the snow-capped Kanchenjunga massif. Named after Freddie Pelling, a British official who protected local miners from northern raiders, the town offers a quieter alternative to busier Sikkim destinations.
