Overview
Parga is a small coastal town on Greece's Ionian coast with a population of 11,866 (2011), nestled between Igoumenitsa and Preveza in the Epirus region. The main draws are the Venetian castle perched on a headland overlooking the town and three accessible beaches: Krioneri in the town centre, Valtos to the west beyond the castle, and Lichnos 4km to the west.
