Overview
Pacentro is a member of "I Borghi più Belli d'Italia" (the most beautiful villages in Italy), perched on a hill in the Peligna Valley with views across to the Maiella massif. With just 1,000 residents, the village offers an authentic, unhurried Italian mountain experience far from tourist crowds.

San Leonardo Pass有小型滑雪场，适合初学者，也有越野滑雪环道。夏季是徒步Maiella山的最佳季节。
Festivals
九月的第一个星期日举行Corsa degli Zingari（吉普赛赛跑），纪念洛雷托圣母，是一项传统的赤脚赛跑。
Language
当地人主要说意大利语，几乎没有英语。Ristorante Zio Carlo明确表示不说英语，学习一些基础意大利语会大有帮助。
Money
Pacentro是小镇，可能没有ATM。建议在Sulmona取够现金，消费通常使用现金。
Transport
唯一公共交通是Sulmona的巴士，10公里约30分钟。建议购买往返票，因为中午在Pacentro很难买到票。步行6.5公里穿过农场小路也是可行的选择。
