Korope (blue mini buses) and motorcycles (okada) are the main local transport. Fares are typically paid per ride. The city is walkable in central areas.
Weather
Best visited November-February (dry season). Rainy season (April-October) brings high humidity and heavy rainfall, sometimes over 200mm monthly in summer months.
