Overview
Norrköping is Sweden's 8th largest municipality with a population of over 128,000. Once dominated by the paper and textile industries, it earned the nickname "The Manchester of Sweden." Today, the former industrial area along the river has been transformed into a cultural landscape with museums, concert halls, and scenic promenades.
