Overview

Na'in is one of Iran's oldest continuously inhabited towns, with roots stretching back more than 2,000 years to the pre-Islamic era. Unlike more touristy destinations, it offers an authentic glimpse into traditional desert life with remarkably preserved monuments including the Jame Mosque—one of the first four mosques built in Iran after the Arab invasion—and the remarkable Rigareh watermill where visitors can descend 19 meters into a living qanat system.
