Overview
Miyakojima offers some of Okinawa's clearest water and most pristine white sand beaches, with no rivers to cloud the sea. The island is dominated by Hirara, the main business and entertainment district where most of the 50,000 residents live, while the rest remains undeveloped coastal paradise.
