Nightlife
Mindelo's music scene centers on Rua Lisboa and Praça Nova. Live mornas play Thursday to Sunday at various venues. Local bars on Rua Santo Antonio serve cheap grog and pontche.
Transport
Taxis from São Pedro airport to Mindelo cost 800 escudos daytime, 1000 escudos evening. Town taxis run around 150 escudos. Ferries to Santo Antão depart from the port at least twice daily.
