Overview
Metropolitan Natural Park is the only national park in Latin America located entirely within a major city, offering a rare opportunity to experience tropical rainforest without leaving Panama City. The park spans 265 hectares and teems with wildlife including mammals, reptiles, and more than 250 species of birds.

Features a 59-meter canopy crane and six marked hiking trails ranging from 0.3 km to 1.1 km.
Transport
Easiest access is by taxi. City buses marked 'Allbrook - Bahia A' also serve the area.

Bring your own bottled water; available at ranger station but many prefer to carry their own.
