Overview
Menzies is a ghost of its former self—a gold rush boomtown that swelled to 10,000 residents in 1895 then dwindled to under 200 today. The handful of surviving heritage buildings, information boards, and metal silhouette figures of miners and merchants give the main street a living-museum quality.
