Transport
Sept-place shared taxis are the budget way in from Dakar via Thies (2,400 CFA total) or Tivaouane (2,500 CFA). Within town, route taxis cost 100 CFA and private taxis 500 CFA.

Best visited November through May when rainfall is minimal and temperatures are mild (mid to high 70s°F). Avoid June-October rainy season.
