Overview

Manazuru is a small coastal resort town on the Izu Peninsula, southwest of Tokyo, known for its high-quality stone production (historically Komatsu Ishi) and scenic coastline. The view from the slopes overlooking Hakone to the north and Sagami Bay to the south has been compared to the Mediterranean coast of France and Italy, earning it the nickname Japanese Riviera.
