Overview

L'Estartit is a small seaside resort on the Costa Brava with about 3,000 permanent residents (2019). It serves as an entry point to the Montgrí, Medes Islands and Baix Ter Natural Park and is renowned for diving sites just off the coast, particularly around the Illes Medes marine reserve.
