Auto-rickshaws are the main local transport. Kurukshetra Junction railway station connects to Delhi, Ambala, and Chandigarh routes.
Weather
Winter (November-February) is ideal with pleasant temperatures and migratory birds at the sarovars. Summer (April-June) can exceed 40°C.
