Overview
Kumana National Park in Sri Lanka's Eastern Province is a premier bird-watching destination with over 255 bird varieties, including waders that regularly visit the park's tanks. Contiguous with the more famous Yala National Park, Kumana receives far fewer visitors, meaning safari trucks are less aggressive and wildlife encounters feel more authentic.
