Kuaotunu is a small coastal township on the east coast of the Coromandel Peninsula in New Zealand's North Island. It is one of the most northern beaches on the Coromandel's east coast and a popular destination for summer holidays.

Basic supplies available at Kuaotunu Store. Luke's Kitchen offers pizzas, seafood and burgers on weekends.
Transport
No public transport reaches Kuaotunu. A car is essential for getting there and exploring nearby beaches. Drive east from Coromandel town (30 min) or north from Whitianga (20 min).
