Overview
Ko Chang (Andaman Sea) is a small, relatively undeveloped island close to Ranong in southwest Thailand. Compared with Thailand's better-known islands, it is very quiet and special due to its beautiful dark sandy beaches, interesting nature, and particularly its birdlife.

Best visited November-April during the dry, high season. Low tide makes beach walking easier.
