Overview
Khinalug sits at 2,250 m above sea level, making it the highest, most remote and isolated village in Azerbaijan and among the highest settlements in the entire Caucasus. With only about 2,000 inhabitants who speak a language found nowhere else on earth, this is one of the most culturally distinct destinations in the region.
