Overview
Kerch is one of Crimea’s oldest cities, founded by Greek colonists in the 7th century BC as Panticapaeum, capital of the Kingdom of Bosporus. The city offers layers of history—ancient ruins, Byzantine citadels, Ottoman fortresses, and Soviet War Memorials—all within a compact urban area.
