Overview
Katima Mulilo is a small frontier town of 46,500 people (2023) where the Katima Mulilo Bridge connects the Zambian Copperbelt to Namibia's deep-water harbour at Walvis Bay. Unlike much of Namibia, the area sits amid lush riverine vegetation with tropical birds and monkeys, home to Masubia and Mafwe tribal communities.
