Overview
Kashima is a small city in Saga Prefecture best known for housing Yutoku Inari Shrine, one of Japan's three most important Inari shrines. The city offers a glimpse into historic Japan through the Hizenhama Preservation District, where old sake breweries and traditional merchant houses line the streets.

Hizen-Kashima Station is on the JR Nagasaki Main Line, served by Limited Express Kamome between Nagasaki and Fukuoka. Local trains also connect to Saga and Nagasaki directions.
