Kasauli is a sleepy British-era hill station in Southern Himachal Pradesh at 1,927 m altitude, 77 km from Shimla and 70 km from Chandigarh. Primarily nature walks and easy hiking trails. The 1820s Mohan Meakin Brewery is open 7AM-7PM for tours. Not suited for adventure seekers seeking action.

Weather
Best visited March to June for clear views. Off-season (November to February) is extremely quiet with few visitors. Monsoon brings heavy rain and slippery trails.
