Overview
Kalpitiya is a small fishing town on a 50-km peninsula that has developed into a kitesurfing, dolphin watching, and diving destination over recent years. Unlike developed tourist areas, the peninsula offers empty wild beaches, sand dunes, mangroves, and a sense of remoteness.
