Overview
Jogindernagar is a pleasant destination for hanging out, trekking, paragliding, angling and camping, with a number of hill stations around and other places of interest to visit. The city is popularly known as "the City of Powerhouses" and is the only town in Asia to have three powerhouses which run on the same stream water.

Safety
Caution needed during monsoon due to landslides. Some mountain roads are single lane. Winter brings heavy snowfall at higher altitudes.
Weather
Best visited March-April or October-November. Summers can be hot (up to 32°C). Winters cold (0-18°C) with rare snowfall. Monsoon brings continuous rain.
