Overview
Jaldapara National Park is one of the few remaining habitats of the great one-horned Indian rhinoceros, along with Kaziranga and Pobitora. Located in the Dooars region of West Bengal, the park offers thrilling elephant safaris through tall grasslands where you can spot rhinos, elephants, bison, and various deer species.

Entry fees in Indian Rupees: ₹25 per person (Indian nationals), ₹50 light vehicle, ₹200 heavy vehicle, ₹5 still camera, ₹250 video camera.
Transport
Madarihat is the entry point on NH 31 highway. Nearest major rail station connections available. Siliguri is 140 km east, Cooch Behar 80 km north.
Weather
Best visited October to February when weather is cool and pleasant. Rest of year is warm and humid.
