Overview
Isla Zapatera is the second largest island in Lago Cocibolca (Lake Nicaragua), part of Parque Nacional Archipelago Zapatera established in 1983. The island centers around dormant Volcan Zapatera, standing 629 meters high with a hiking trail to the summit.
