Overview
Inis Meáin is the middle and least touristy of the three Aran Islands, with just 184 residents (2022) whose primary language is Irish. It's an extension of the mainland's Burren limestone, offering karst terrain, ancient ring forts, and wild clifftop walks without the coach-tour crowds.
