Ialysos is Rhodes' second-largest town, a purpose-built resort destination on the island's northwestern coast 8 km from Rhodes City. The area draws visitors for its organized Blue Flag beach with sand-and-pebble shores, consistent winds ideal for windsurfing (hosting international competitions), and lively strip of shops, restaurants, and nightclubs lining the seafront at Ixia.
