Overview
Glacier National Park in British Columbia encompasses 1,349 km² of the Columbia Mountains near Revelstoke, offering high peaks, active glaciers, and one of Canada's largest cave systems. The park's dense forests support populations of large mammals, birds, and alpine species.

Fees
Daily park entry in 2024 is $11 CAD for adults, $9.50 for seniors; children free. Seasonal passes available. Fishing permits $13.50/day.
Safety
Constant avalanche danger in winter months along Trans-Canada Highway. Areas may close for controlled avalanche发射 using 105mm howitzers.
Transport
Highway 1 (Trans-Canada) bisects the park. Calgary 4 hours east, Kamloops 3 hours west. Car or bus access only.
Weather
Interior Wetbelt region with 1278 mm annual precipitation at lower elevations, up to 1995 mm in subalpine. Rogers Pass receives up to 17 m of snow yearly.
