Overview
Mount Revelstoke National Park is a compact 260 km² protected area in the Selkirk Mountains of southeastern British Columbia, famous for its rare inland temperate rainforest. The park offers old-growth cedar boardwalk trails, a scenic mountain parkway through sub-alpine wildflower meadows, and proximity to the town of Revelstoke.

Cell phone coverage is limited throughout the park. WiFi is not available in the park. Download offline maps before visiting.
Money
Park fees are in Canadian dollars. Daily admission is $11 for adults (2024). Camping costs $30.50-36.00 per night. Credit cards are accepted at the park office.
Packing
Bring sturdy hiking shoes, rain layers, sun protection, and bear spray. Binoculars are useful for wildlife viewing in the meadows and wetlands.
Transport
The park is accessed via Highway 1 (Trans-Canada Highway). Rent a car in Vancouver or Calgary for the scenic 4.5-6 hour drive. Revelstoke has bus service but no commercial flights.
Weather
Snow-free season typically runs June-September. Upper elevations can hold snow into July. Summers are mild with occasional rain; bring layers and rain gear.
