Overview

Transport
Bus C318/C110 from Ponta Delgada (€4.65, 1h20min). Within Furnas, everything is walkable. Renting a car is the best way to explore São Miguel's other attractions.
Weather
Azores weather is unpredictable. Bring layers and rain gear year-round. Summer is warmest (20-25°C) but can still see sudden showers. Fog often shrouds the caldera lakes.
