Overview
Fukuchiyama is a mid-sized city in northern Kyoto Prefecture that serves as a regional hub with direct train connections to Kyoto and the San'in coast. The main draw is Fukuchiyama Castle, one of the few reconstructed castles in the Kansai region, alongside the Satō Taisei Memorial Art Museum housing works by the local artist.
