A cafe is available at the park visitor center. More dining options are in nearby Mineral del Chico and Pachuca.
Packing
Bring bottled water as facilities inside the park are limited. Sturdy hiking shoes are recommended for the trails.
Transport
The park is 10 km northeast of Pachuca on highway 105, with entry at the 9 km post. Buses to Pachuca depart from Mexico City's Autobuses del Norte terminal.
Weather
Summer is the rainy season. Be prepared for wet conditions during summer months.
