Overview
Eden is a small historic town on Twofold Bay with around 3,000 residents, the southernmost major town in New South Wales. It holds a unique place in Australian maritime history as a former whaling community where orcas actively cooperated with human hunters to round up whales.

Whale watching cruises operate May-November on Twofold Bay. The Eden Killer Whale Museum is open M-Sa 9:15AM-3:45PM, Su 11:15AM-3:45PM.
Transport
Eden is a small town best explored on foot along its grid layout main street. Taxis and buses connect to surrounding areas.
Weather
Summer (Dec-Feb) is warmest for beach activities; winter months bring whale migrations through the bay.
