Overview

Dsegh is a picturesque village perched at 1,250-1,350 meters in Debed Canyon, Northern Armenia. Famous as the birthplace of celebrated Armenian poet Hovhannes Tumanyan, it draws literary pilgrims and nature lovers alike.

Marshrutka N403 runs Yerevan-Vanadzor (1200 dram, 2hr 35min); Bus 05-001 connects Vanadzor to Dsegh (500 dram, 55min). Local village exploration is步行-friendly.

Mountain village at 1250-1350m elevation. Summers are pleasant for hiking; winters can be cold with snow. Spring and autumn offer scenic beauty with fewer tourists.
