Transport
Jeepneys from Dumaguete to Dauin cost 25 PHP. Habal-habal motorcycle taxis charge 40-50 PHP for mountain trips. The town is walkable.

Dauin has a tropical climate. Peak diving season generally runs from March to May. The area is accessible year-round but monsoons affect sea conditions.
