Overview
Cuautla is a historic city of about 157,000 people in Morelos, Central Mexico, with a rich revolutionary heritage. The city served as a strategic stronghold during both the Mexican War of Independence and the Mexican Revolution, and is where Emiliano Zapata was buried after his assassination in 1919.
