Overview
Comala is a small town of 10,000 people in southwestern Colima state, nicknamed the "White Village of America" because the façades of buildings have been painted white since the 1960s. The historic center was declared a Historic Monument Zone and earned the designation as one of Mexico's Pueblos Magicos in 2002.
