Overview
Cobar is a remote outback town of 4,000 people in Northwestern New South Wales, built on base metals and gold mining. It preserves much of its colonial 19th-century architecture from the 1880s-1900s settlement era, including the famous Great Western Hotel with the longest verandah in NSW at 91 metres.
