Getting around

Dubbo's city center is compact enough to walk, but attractions like the zoo (on Obley Road) and observatory (15 km away) require vehicle transport. The article mentions bicycles can be hired at the zoo entrance to explore the large site, with child seats, baskets, and trailers available. A cycleway loop also connects the zoo to town. Car rental is available at the airport for those arriving by air.
